Institute’s objectives
- Launch activities beyond the scope of single disciplines
- Promote interdisciplinary research on Greek Language and Culture comparatively with other cultures (intercultural understanding and communication)
- Develop cooperation with Centers and Departments of Greek language and Culture abroad and with other organizations of Greek Diaspora Unions in many countries all over the word
- A number of conferences, meetings, seminars, workshops are organized.
- Some events related to linguistic, cultural and social issues are performed in Greek Diaspora.
- Training seminars for language teachers (Greek as a L2/FL), Greek Language Teachers abroad are delivered (modern approaches and methods for teaching language in specific sociocultural contexts).
- The publication of scientific work related to the Language and culture is prepared.
